Warranty

All LeatherCraft products come with a limited lifetime warranty for normal household (non-commercial) use.

Frame Construction

LeatherCraft warrants its frame against defects in material and workmanship for the life of the product under normal household use. It must be noted that severe impact may damage the frame and will not be covered under warranty.

Spring Construction

LeatherCraft warrants that the spring construction in this product is free from defective material and workmanship for the life of the product under normal us.

Cushion Construction

LeatherCraft warrants all cushions against loss of foam resiliency for two years. We advise the purchaser that softening of cushion, which is the result of normal use, should not be confused with loss of resiliency due to defects in construction or materials. On occasion there may be a slight variance in the firmness from one cushion to the next, this will gradually disappear with use.

Motion/Sleeper Mechanism

LeatherCraft sleepers and motion mechanisms - where applicable - are guaranteed against defective material or workmanship for two (2) years under normal household use. After the second year from date of purchase, the mechanism warranty covers replacement parts only and does not cover labour costs.

Genuine Top Grain Leather

LeatherCraft warrants the leather against tearing and splitting for five (5) years from the date of purchase under normal household usage. LeatherCraft will repair or replace with equivalent materials. If identical materials are unavailable at the time of repair, LeatherCraft reserves the right to substitute materials of equal quality.

Labour and Workmanship

LeatherCraft warrants the labour and workmanship for a period of one year.

CONDITIONS

This warranty does not include coverage for wrinkling, or natural marking from injuries to the skin, variations in grain, or colour variations eg. scars, wrinkles, veining and insect bites. These are the proof that only real cowhide leather has been used. Claims due to burns, cuts, or pet damage are excluded from this warranty. Doing the following will void this warranty: Improper cleaning, abuse, negligence, treating the leather with chemical product, and exposing the leather to the sun, or extreme heat. The warranty does not cover spills such as acids, solvents, dyes, ink, paint, body fluids or any other corrosive chemicals. Also, the warranties for the frame, cushioning, spring, mechanisms or workmanship does not cover improper use, or damage from acts of god. Warranty is extended only to the original purchaser of the furniture at the original address. This warranty shall extend only to furniture used in the purchaser's home. Corporation or Contract purchasers, or any use of the furniture for the general public is not covered by this warranty.

WARRANTY SERVICE

All the warranty claims are to be made through an authorized LeatherCraft dealer, LeatherCraft's obligation under this warranty is limited to repairing or replacing at LeatherCraft option any part or parts of the product found to be defective in material or workmanship. LeatherCraft in its sole discretion will determine the cause and nature of any defect, the necessity and manner of repair or replacement, and all other matters pertaining to the condition of the furniture. If it should become necessary to return the product to the factory for repairs, the cost of packaging, brokerage and shipping to and from the factory are not covered by this warranty. Evidence of original ownership such as sales invoice or other documents of purchase will be required.
